good morning, kinfolk

After a two-month hiatus, the dailymade is back in business on a Saturday morning with volume four of Kinfolk and extra-strong French-pressed coffee.

We had some amazing sunshine yesterday. Back to a textured gray this morning, but am feeling a little more well-equipped to handle it.

Yesterday was quite productive--lots of strolling about on the sun-drenched sidewalks (it was brisk but bearable with the sun on my face), tackling long-awaited correspondence, and 

On the docket for this mid-February morn:
several cups of strong coffee
wishlist
portfolio & resume updates
workspace clean-up
a round of well-wishing
perhaps a few portfolio submissions
practice french and latin for my inevitable return to paris
